Statement of Purpose

CTE believes and will demonstrate that Britain's continued membership of the European Union (EU) is illegal, unconstitutional and places our nation in grave danger. British sovereignty and independence are absolute, not negotiable and no government can lawfully compromise or diminish them at any time.

CTE is committed to assisting the rejection of calls to abolish the pound and to join the single currency unit - the euro.

CTE is committed to ensuring that British and world peoples are alerted to the extreme dangers inherent in the type of autocratic Soviet-style system currently being set up on the continent of Europe.

CTE is committed to researching the background and aims of the European Union and will demonstrate why the EU poses a unique and pressing danger to the long-term peace interests of the region and the world.

CTE believes and will demonstrate that Britain has been betrayed by those of her politicians who are attempting, by stealth, to destroy British sovereignty, independence and hand over the United Kingdom to former enemies of our state.

CTE believes that Britain should exit the European Union IMMEDIATELY through the proper legal means, negotiate a trade arrangement with our neighbours in Europe and remain a strong and independent sovereign nation under monarch and duly elected parliament.

CTE believes and will demonstrate that efforts have been made by British politicians, and are now underway, to abrogate the common law birthrights and freedoms of British citizens recognized and granted to them in perpetuity under Magna Carta (1215) and the Bill of Rights (1689).

CTE believes and will demonstrate that assets of the British people, such as her gold reserves, have been illegally, and without consent of the British people, sold off in an attempt to support a federal Europe and compromise the independent sovereignty and financial strength and operation of the British state.

CTE believes that those responsible for perpetrating repeated attacks on British sovereignty and independence from within should be brought to account for treason under the existing laws of this land, which were drafted for just such a purpose.

CTE believes that the British people should engage in lawful and peaceful protest and resistance against the European Union and those British politicians and parties who are attempting to destroy or usurp the sovereign powers of the British state.
