EXERCISE REDUCES RISK OF DEMENTIA: Scientists at Bristol University have found that physical exercise can reduce the risk of cognitive impairment, dementia or Alzheimer's in older people by between 30 and 40 per cent.

His comments are backed up by results from a survey involving volunteers from three different fluoridated areas of County Donegal, who monitored their urinary fluoride intake over a 24-hour period.
AUSTRALIA'S UP FOR MORE POISONING: Fluoride will be added to Queensland's water supplies, Premier Anna Bligh has announced. Bligh said the move would tackle the poor condition of Queenslanders' oral health when the more likely outcome will be more cancer, more thyroid problems and dental fluorosis poisoning.

BROWN TURNS UP LATE THEN SIGNS A TREATY HANDING OVER POWER TO BRUSSELS: Gordon Brown was left isolated in Europe and under fire in Britain last night after he turned up late for a solo signing of a treaty. Sitting alone in a deserted hall, he put his name to a document that gives up Britain's veto in more than 60 areas and gives the EU the trappings of statehood.
EU CHAOS AS HECKLING BRITISH MEPS CHANTING 'REFERENDUM' ORDERED TO LEAVE PARLIAMENT: British Euro MPs led a noisy protest yesterday at a signing ceremony for a new EU rights charter. Around 100 heckling Eurosceptics from Britain, France, Poland and Italy wrecked what was supposed to be a solemn event at the Strasbourg Parliament.
