TOXIC BITE
By Dr Bill Kellner-Read

This book is a must for those who suffer chronic symptoms for which no cause has yet been found; for those caring parents worried about the long-term effects of dentistry on their growing child; and for those people fighting for their health in a ever increasing toxic environment where even the products in their bathroom, including toothpaste and mouthwash have the potential to cause chronic sickness and disease.

My name is Bill Kellner-Read. For the last 25 years I have been practising as a dentist both in the UK and Australia. My consuming interest for many years has been in health. Why is it that some people just don't get sick? The more stalwart among us maybe suffer the occasional cold, even the beginnings of flu, but these afflictions seem miraculously to fade before the illness has a chance to take hold. But for others, total wipe-out for a few days, sometimes a few weeks. Many of us suffer throughout our lives, moving seamlessly from one ailment to another. Those incessant trips to the doctor. More prescriptions, more drugs, more time off work.

And then, while some people never suffer bad teeth, gum disease or need orthodontics, others dwell permanently on the waiting lists of their local dental office. How is it that backaches, headaches and neckaches ruin people's lives, and yet others seem to be able to eat, drink and smoke too much and almost live forever?

Today dentistry is embroiled in controversy just like all other branches of medicine. Should we take vitamins and minerals to improve dental health, or are we just excreting expensive urine? Does mercury cause neurological diseases or is it really a non-toxic metal used in dental fillings? Does sodium fluoride in your toothpaste help in the battle against tooth decay, or is it a toxin that increases the risk of hip fracture and cancer? And what of sugar? Is tooth decay sugar's only indictment, or is it, as has been reported, one of the most damaging substances we can put into our body?

John Stuart Mill is quoted as saying: "Over his own body and mind, the individual is sovereign". The foundation of the legal rights and liberties of the individual is the principle of his responsibility for his own conduct and his own interests, chief among which is health.

In researching this book, I have become even more aware that successive governments, Big Pharma and academia worldwide have ignored the potential disasters of using toxic materials in the mouth. It is only now that we the public are awakening to the realisation that it is our responsibility to put this right. And it is only now that we are questioning the validity of the science that allows carcinogens, neurotoxins and tissue irritants to invade our bodies through the mouth. Do we really want to poison ourselves or our children?

There is a safe, non-toxic way forward. You can lay hold of this - you the patient have the right to choose. Edmund Burke remarked: "All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing". Toxic Bite has been written so that good men and women can be equipped to do something!"

Take action for your family today and take it consistently. Read the information contained in this book and change what you can change in the certain knowledge that you will be doing the very best you can for you and your family.
