Cinnamon and Cholesterol This spice has been found to reduce blood sugar levels
and cholesterol by up to 20 per cent, according to new research at the
American Department of Agriculture. A teaspoonful might help prevent adult-onset
diabetes, as the active ingredients appear to mimic the effects of insulin. PHILLIP DAY'S COMMENT: Cinnamon is also a great anti-fungal.
