CANCER BEATEN 50 YEARS AGO? I've never spent much time checking into "alternative therapies" because it's so hard to sift through the hype to find the "kernel" of truth there. I do know that most medicines are derived from plant life in one way or another. In one case I know of, it was discovered that ground-up chicken beaks cured a major problem and so became an "instant drug." So I'm not very quick to "buy" the claims of purveyors of "alternative therapies." But my sister, Patti, has put me onto the "trail" of Laetrile as a possible cancer cure. I know, I know, the "medical establishment" has worked hard for a long time to discredit this substance as a cure for cancer, which to me is a word in its favor. I don't have much respect for MSNBC when it comes to "political news" but when MSNBC publishes an article in favor of "curing cancer with cyanide," I sit up and take notice. I don't usually write much about medical and alternative medicine here, but if the medical establishment has been suppressing a workable answer for cancer, it is a "political issue" and I intend to get to the bottom of it. Be sure that I will not "go off half-cocked" in favor of it without a lot of research and proof that satisfies me (and you know that isn't easy). But I will be writing on it in the future after diligent study. To do your own research, and to read the MSNBC article about it, go to the Credence Publications web site at the URL in the "Source" information below.
